The WordPress theme editor is a simple text editor inside the WordPress dashboard, which allows users to customize WordPress theme files to achieve their desired appearance and functionality. For example, users can attach an additional sidebar, make the website mobile-friendly, or embed custom videos in the header.
If you want to change the content of a single page only, go to Pages in your sites dashboard and select that page to edit it directly. Step 1: Open the Template Editor. Step 2: Explore the Templates Layout. Step 3: Customize the Design. Step 4: Apply the Page Template to a Page.
A large proportion of WordPress themes have customization options, meaning you can make changes to the design and layout via the Customizer. But some themes take this further and are designed to be extended and docHubly customized. Those themes are called theme frameworks.
Set the Default Posts Page Visit your sites dashboard. Go to Settings Reading in the left sidebar: Locate the dropdown option for default posts page near the top of the screen: Using the dropdown, select the page you would like to use. Click Save settings to save your selected posts page.
