The generic steps to add a text record to your domain are listed below. Sign in to your domains account at your domain host. Locate the page for updating your domains DNS records. Locate the TXT records for your domain on this page. Add a TXT record for the domain and for each subdomain (see Use Cases below).
TXT record: This is used to store text-based information of the outside domain for the configured domain. This is useful in identifying ownership of a domain. Step by step create a TXT record inside the zone file: Login to your DNS server as administrator. Launch the DNS Management Console. On DNS Manager window, expand your DNS name. Right click on your domain name and select Other New Records to add a new TXT record.
Select your domain to access the Domain Settings page. Select Manage DNS under Additional Settings. Delete next to the record youre removing. You can also delete multiple records at a time by selecting the check boxes next to the records, then select Delete.
