hello everybody so in today's tutorial I'm basically going to be showing you guys how you can easily replace a text on an image using Photoshop me personally I'm using Photoshop CC 2018 for this version of the tutorial I'm not exactly sure which outfit I'm using all that information should be irrelevant so starting off you should already have an image selected I'm going to be using this one right here it sounds of the Lambs movie poster one of my favorite movies of all time so once you've got your image picked out yours obviously going to want to open Photoshop create a new image with dimensions matching the image you'd like to edit after you've gone ahead and done that you're just gonna want to insert the image into your Photoshop by pressing file pressing the Open button navigating to your picture simply double clicking it and tada so starting off by actually removing the text I'm zooming in using the ctrl + - + + buttons on my keyboard by the way but anyway starting off you're goin...

The simple answer is that by default, Photoshop locks text layers to prevent accidental changes. However, you can unlock a text layer by clicking on the “Lock” icon in the Layers panel. Once unlocked, you can then edit the text just like any other layer.
