hi everyone and welcome to another video about pivot tables in the previous video um we created a simple pivot table and which has a breakdown of job title by male and female and the grand total or the total number of sick powers taken or sick leave hours taken and i mean perfect tables are a great way to summarize data as i mentioned before but you can see some of these road labels or column labels are not very particularly useful if youre producing a report and for the end user or for your manager for example so you can rename these labels on your pivot tables to give them a much more meaningful names so for example we could take the row labels and call this uh job titles and we can call the column labels gender i call this female this male and the granddaughter grand total we can call it total number of sick leave hours and you can double click here to expand the column width or if you prefer you can have a shorter column width and just go to the ribbon and click wrap text and wra
