I just set your own custom simple characters when you press and hold to the period key shortcuts now first on the home key to go back to your home screen then swipe down and tap on the Settings icon from here tap on general management then tap on language and input from here tap on on-screen keyboard then tap on Samsung keyboard and from here tap on keyboard layout and feedback then tap on keyboard layout from here tap on custom symbols and you can see here if you want to change the symbol for example this simple here if you don't really use the percentage symbol we can tap on that and then you from here you can replace it with a different symbol that you want to use so you can see there's not many symbols that you could choose but you can select the one that you like for example if you're using a lot of this heart shape you can select you can replace that with a heart shape and that's it so now we can just tap on the back here to go back and we can test it out so if you long press on...
