On your old server, open Registry Editor. Right-click the Shares key and select Export it to a file and then copy the file you exported from the old server to the new server. Go to your new server and right-click the registry file and select Merge.

Export Reg to backup Share permissions from old server: Disconnect shares in old server, migrate update files one last time. Import reg to new server. Rename new server to use the old name and change to old IP. Restart server. Test.
To preserve permissions when files and folders are copied or moved, use the Xcopy.exe utility with the /O or the /X switch. The objects original permissions will be added to inheritable permissions in the new location.
Right click the Shares key and select Export in Regedit. Give it any name you like and save it to an area accessible from your new server. Now go to your new server and right click the registry file you have exported in Step 1 and select Merge. All the share information will be imported in your new server.
