Edit an invoice template Click the organisation name, then select Settings. Click Invoice settings. Find the template you want to edit, click Options, then select Edit. Make your changes. Click Save.
How do I change the address which shows on my invoices? You can go to the Company menu and then select My Company. From there, click the Pencil icon on the upper part of the Company Information window. Change/Enter the Address section and then hit OK to update settings.
To change the template of an invoice, please click on the saved invoice which you would like to edit, then choose Select Template.
Your invoice format must include: Your business name and contact details. Your customers name and contact details. The label Invoice A unique invoice number. The invoice date and date of supply. A description of the goods or services and their prices. VAT (if applicable) Subtotals and totals.
You can change the invoice format in Tally by Pressing Ctrl+P and configuring the print settings. The print configuration allows users to show/hide fields, details, caption, description, print logo, etc.
No matter how careful you are when invoicing, mistakes can happen. A customers address may be typed wrongly, a discount may not have been applied, or the items themselves may be incorrect. Once sent, you can no longer edit the invoice directly, and a credit note must be issued instead.
Invoice formats are editable and can be changed by user/support person/computer operator or even external technical persons.
