okay heres a little helpful hint for you if you ever stain wood and you dont like the color of it which this wood here i stained it gun stock to start with it had way too much red in it to begin with and i went over it with one coat of english chestnut and it got it more brown but as you can see its still kind of light still has some red in it anytime youre staining something if you go over it more and more you go over it the darker it gets as you can see as you see me staying putting more that stain on top of that wood it makes it more dark but two it is still kind of got that red tint which i know i wont ever be able to get rid of that but you want to be sure every time you put stain on it its going to get darker and darker and darker so just watch the amount of stain you put on it im not going to wipe this off because i actually want it darker but i dont want to keep applying stain to it as you can see i already did a second coat on top of the table top um just a helpful hi
