hey there Ash here from quota and today were going to look at our product configurator and how you can pre-build items that enable your sales people to offer volume discounts percentage-based add-ons and other features with a few clicks without making any errors so that your pricing remains accurate on all of your quotes Im going to start with a brand new quote and use a template that has no line items on it already now you could pre-build line items onto this template to save yourself more time if you are regularly quoting the same line items Ill quickly look up a person in my PSA CRM or in quota now lets add some line items so the first thing Im going to add is an on-site visit maybe were doing an installation we need to make sure that we can bring our security cameras to their location and identify how much its going to cost to them so Ill look up visit here to find that line item and Ill close the pop-up right away you can see that weve added two line items actually so t

Quotes are legally binding and should ONLY be used when you are certain of the costs involved. NEVER label a written estimate as a Quote You can be held to the figure provided. ALWAYS ensure that the customer understands whether they are getting an estimate or a quote.
A quote should include: Your business name and address. The customers name and address. A unique quote number. The quote issue date. The quote expiry date. The description and prices of the products/services. The total amount of the sale.
Is a Quote a Legally Binding Contract? No, a quote by itself is not a binding contract. It is a document that outlines your terms of service and how much you would charge were those terms accepted. In a court of law, only bargains that are agreed upon by both parties are considered legally binding quotations.
Leave any inspirational quotes on the road, and never include them in your email signatures, especially work email signatures. Its cheesy and unprofessional, just like sharing cat memes on LinkedIn. So, keep personal information and attitudes on a need-to-know basis.
Add your quote in a line below your basic contact information. Its best to put it here because it means the recipient wont be distracted from reading the quote before getting your key details. The quote is a little something extra at the end of the information in the signature.
If you simply send a price quote to a client and they never actually accept or confirm it, it wont be considered legally binding. On the other hand, if you provide a written quote to a client detailing a job and they provide an electronic signature to confirm their acceptance, a formal agreement has been established.
Email signature quotes by category: Trust your own instinct. The only difference between me and a madman is that I am not mad. Its better to give than to receive. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didnt do than by the ones you did do. Trust your own instinct.
A quotation needs to have details like the name and quantity of goods or services that are expected to sell and the price at which the seller is ready to provide them. It can include the due date, tax details, and other terms and conditions if the buyer asks.
