hey guys today I want to show you how to adjust the shadow it works so that back by believing 2011 older you are able to just turn the shadow off move your part around put the shadow back on and the shadow will be faced that way no longer is the case in SolidWorks 2013 but we can still have the shuttle based on a different face so what we do is if we go to the display manager and we go into our scenes light skin camera you right click on the first one scene and we choose edit scene at the very bottom we see floor right now its aligned with the bottom view plane but if I were to change it to say B Y Zed you can see now my shadow is being casted based on the Y Z taxis stay with X Y or Y Z X Y sorry so we can manipulate it this way or I can choose to select a plane tool will choose the right plane and now youll notice that the shadows only being casted from the top looking down this way so Ill set it back to bottom view and we can also offset where the floor is right here too
