all right hi Im John from Tool talks and today were going to change the seals on this four inch cylinder first thing were going to do is there is a nut usually on these a bolt that kind of captures this gland from getting sucked inside so were going to undo that [Music] so we take that off next thing were going to do is were going to have to tap this in to expose the retaining rings easiest way to do that because its vertical get some sort of tool tap around the edge that in so Im just going to do that [Music] there we go you can see in here there is a metal ring theres a gap right there in the ring so were gonna get just pliers [Music] were gonna pull the rod out were going to pull the piston and hit this Rod gland pull everything out so the easiest ways to fasten this is something were gonna use a forklift because thats what we have that you can use your truck or your car or come along or anything something with some Forks pull your piston Rod out so well do that so b
