How to edit recipient information using your Remitly app Open the Remitly app and sign in to your account. Tap the active transfer youd like to edit. Tap Edit Transfer. Tap Edit next to recipient details. Tap the Edit button under your recipients information. Enter new details or select a new recipient. Tap Continue.
You can only make minor typographical changes to your receivers name on a regular money transfer. You can do it only if the money hasnt been picked up or deposited to your receivers bank account. Please note: You cant change your receivers name on a money order, bill payment, or prepaid money transfer.
Modifying the contact information could resolve the issue. Select the Google Apps menu in the upper-right corner and choose Contacts. Hover over the contact you want to edit and select the Pencil icon on the right end. Change the name, email address, or other information. Select Save to apply the changes.
