The invoice should outline the goods or services provided and the total price as well as VAT (if applicable), along with any discounts that have been applied. A quotation, on the other hand, is issued before the goods or services are delivered and provides an itemised list and expected costs.
Mobile Android and iOS Open the Invoice Home app. Select the Estimate you would like to convert. Tap Edit. At the top of the screen, tap Switch Document. The switch to feature works with any document type (Quote, Receipt, Estimate, etc.) Tap Invoice. Tap Save on iOS or Save Invoice on Android.

As with normal quotations, you can convert quotations involving assembly processing to sales orders. This is the case when the customer makes a firm order for the project.
Drill down on the number of the quote you wish to revise. On the quote information screen, select Revise and accept the prompt to create a revised quote. The revised quote is given a new sub-number (/1 for example. You can change this character if you wish) and the original quote is archived and marked as Revised.
Sometimes information is missing or inaccurate in a quote. Words can be added or changed to a quote by using brackets. Changes can be used to correct tense or to add necessary information. Brackets can also be used to make the pronouns in a quote consistent.
If you must make changes to an activated quote, select Revise quote. The quote is closed, and the revised reason code is used. A new quote is then created that has the same ID and an incremented revision number. All the details from the original quote are copied to the new quote.
A quotation is a fixed price offer that cant be changed once accepted by the customer. You must adhere to the quotation price even if you carry out more work than you expected.
A quote (or quotation) is an exact price for the job being offered. As such it is fixed and CANNOT be changed once it has been accepted by the customer (unless the customer changes the amount/type of work required or you discover something completely outside of the scope of what was agreed).
