To show document edits, turn on Track Changes in Word by selecting Review, Track Changes. Word captures edits, which can be stopped by selecting Track Changes. Markups made by others can be viewed by selecting Display for Review and choosing Simple Markup (points out changes with red lines), All Markup (shows edits in different colors), No Markup (hides markup), or Original (displays original document).
