You cannot increase the resolution of an image after it's taken; however, Photoshop now offers a new technology to enhance image sizes effectively. To use this feature, ensure that you have the latest version of Photoshop CC, as it is not available in previous versions like CS6. Start by examining a small image, such as one that is 500 by 333 pixels, which may be unusable in its original form. Typically, you would go to 'Image' and then 'Image Size' to enlarge it (e.g., to 4000 pixels), but this often leads to unsatisfactory results. Even options like bicubic smoother enlargement may not yield the desired quality, highlighting the need for the new technology in CC for better enlargement.
