In this module, we build on previous discussions about classroom management, focusing on a four-step model known as Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) for addressing students with emotional and behavioral problems. We previously explored a three-level framework for classroom behavior management: universal strategies for all students, selected strategies for those at risk of disruption, and intensive strategies for students already displaying disruptive behavior. It's emphasized that effectively handling challenging behavior requires understanding the unique context of each student and situation rather than simply applying preset strategies. The goal is to comprehend the root causes of disruptive behavior before implementing interventions.
