Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF using Microsoft Word, and as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well lets jump on the desktop. Here I am on my desktop, and I have a PDF file called certificate. Im going to go ahead and click on that and I have this nice certificate that I found online. Its a PDF file and I run a company and I have some employees who I want to celebrate. You know, instead of giving people a pay raise, Im just going to give him this paper certificate and hopefully that makes them satisfied with this company. No, really, Id probably just give him more money, I think that makes people happy and maybe throw the certificate in too, but heres the certificate and unfortunately, its a PDF and I cant edit the name of the recipient. I cant type anything down here. I cant type in a date. Its kind of annoying how its hard to edit PDFs,

You and your spouse must both sign the agreement voluntarily. Once your agreement has been signed and docHubd, you then file it with the County Clerk. You can write your own separation agreement, but it is tricky.
You may file it (if you wish) with the County Clerks Office in the County where either of you live now (in Queens this is in Room 100, First Floor of this building). There is a filing fee of $210. An Agreement cannot take into consideration any time during which you have already been separated.
A separation agreement or other written document is not required to be legally separated in North Carolina. To be considered separated from your spouse, you need to be living in different homes, and at least one of you needs to intend that the separation be permanent.
Often, a completed agreement will range from 8-20 pages. There are many details to include. Parties often focus on their children, their schedules, child support and asset division.
How to Write a Separation Agreement Name and address of both spouses. Details of the marriage. Beginning date of the separation. Statement of the intention to separate. Terms of use of the agreement. Specifications regarding the division of assets and the shared financial or child responsibilities of both parties.
The cost of filing a separation agreement may vary depending on the county of residence, between $5 and $210. Spouses who live in New York City will need to purchase an index number from the county clerk for $210. (Outside of NYC, certain counties may only require a filing fee of $5.)
Can we write our own separation agreement? In theory, yes, you can write your own separation agreement. However, if there is any dispute in the future, the court are less likely to accept your separation agreement.
