hi its caleb from cdn security and electronics here and im going to be looking at how to use the xml password reset function so this by far isnt the easiest way to reset a password or the quickest hopefully youve entered the correct email address during the setup of the mvr and you still have access to that email then you can follow the process of just hitting the forgot password button and scanning it in your dmss app but in a worst case scenario where youve lost your email address some devices will support this xml password reset so we can go into a darwin toolbox you can download that from the dabblewiki website and we want to config tool once youve got that installed you can open that and youll see a list of devices you can double check over your search settings make sure you havent got other segment search ticked then come down to password reset if your nvr doesnt support the password reset or other device um youll see it grayed out here and it wont have the xm
