hey everybody welcome back to nerd cheek so today I had a request to talk about how to change a password or add a password to a meeting that already exists now right now soom is automatically creating passwords for every meeting on Pro accounts that are scheduled or recurring meetings but for you guys who are not Pro or who havent seen the change happen heres how you change the password in your meeting or add a password so Ive out of this meeting right here test meeting at 2:00 p.m. Im going to click the test meeting right now inside the test meeting you can see this generated a number and all that good stuff and then right down here this is a meting meeting that already exists about halfway down or at the bottom is this meeting password require meeting password so we can go in here and change this and manage it so the way were gonna do it is were gonna edit this meeting down here and then go back up and then you see right here recurring whatever generated require meeting passwo

For scheduled meetings, the meeting passcode will be in the invitation. The passcode will be available as well on the meeting details page itself (accessible by the host only). The passcode is also included in the meeting join URL and invitation sent to the alternative host when they are assigned to the meeting.
Step 1: Check the Admin Settings Go to the Admin - Account Management - Account Settings Menu: With the Meeting tab highlighted: Scroll down to see Meeting Passcode: Check to make sure the yellow highlighted icon is UNLOCKED. Go to your Personal - Profile screen:
Click Meetings on the left navigation bar and then select the meeting to which youd like to add a password. Scroll down the page and click Edit this Meeting. Check the checkbox for Require meeting password. Use the password thats automatically generated or create your own 6-digit, numeric password.
Reset Your Password Suppose you are getting the error when login into your Zoom account. Click the Forgot Password option to reset the password. A reset link will get sent to your email. Click on it, reset your Zoom password, and use the new password to log in.
Note: Only the Meeting Owner or Zoom Scheduling Host can add or remove a passcode for a recording.
