welcome to do info today im going to show you how to open the pages file format so before getting into detail first of all ill ill tell you what pages format is so when you use microsoft windows you have a word processing application which is called the microsoft word same kind of word processing application is installed on the mac which is called the pages app so that pages file form made by that pages app usually this that pages file format is hidden on the mac but when a mac user send that file to a windows user in an email attachment or thumb drive it looks like windows cannot open this file format but typically is not the case there are two ways in which you can open that pages file on a windows pc i will show you the bot so lets start with the number one so as you can see i have a new file here start pages it asking me to choose an application for example if i will select a microsoft word is it wont open in the word you can see its a blank if i select any other application
