First, understand the risks. As a non-qualified deferred compensation plan, your DCP account is, by rule, an unsecured liability of your employer. Meaning if your employer goes bankrupt, you could lose part, a majority, or all, of your balance in this account.
If you would like to change your monthly contribution amount, you will need to access the Employee Self-Service (ESS) link to request the change. Once you access the home page you will click on the Benefits Icon, then click on Life and Benefit Events to begin the process.
If a participant is contributing to another 401(k) or a 403(b) plan, the total annual contribution to all plans must be combined and cannot exceed $22,500 in calendar year 2023 ($20,500 in calendar year 2022).
