I have here a list of names. Some are lower. Some are upper. Some are a hot mess. What Im gonna do here is to convert them all, first to upper case. The formula is really simple. You just have to type in upper. Put in the cell reference where your text is sitting on. Close bracket. Press enter and you get everything in upper case letters. As it turns out, there are a few reasons why you may be getting plain text emails: Some mobile email clients still do not support HTML emails. Various mechanisms used by websites (e.g. contact forms) tend to use the plain text format.
On the File tab, choose Options Mail. Under Compose messages, in the Compose messages in this format list, click HTML, Rich Text, or Plain Text.
At the bottom of the Settings panel that opens, click View all Outlook settings. In the left column, click Mail. In the second column, click Compose and reply. Under Message format, next to Compose messages in, select the desired format.
If the recipients email program is set to convert messages, for example, then a message you send formatted as HTML could be converted to plain text.
