hi in this video were going to show you how to change the ink coverage values in Photoshop theres two ways to do this first method is to use the color curves the second method is to create a new color profile with an ink limit setting we are going to start with the CMYK curves make sure your document to CMYK go to the image at the top menu select mode and select CMYK next youre going to open up the info palette under windows menu at the top click on the eyedropper tool and select total ink move your mouse cursor over to the shadow or dark areas of the image and check for the totaling percentage values go to image at top menu select adjustments and then curves in the curves palette you can make adjustments to the shadow areas meanwhile checking the total link values using the info palette you can also select the black channel to make further precise adjustments your goal is to keep the ink coverage under two hundred and eighty percent there will be a drastic color shift on your imag
