It is an inline element.Attribute Values: left: It sets the alignment of the image to the left. right: It sets the alignment of the image to the right. middle: It sets the alignment of the image to the middle. top: It sets the alignment of the image to the top. bottom: It sets the alignment of the image to the bottom.
To add an image to your webpage, use the tag and specify the file name with the SRC (source) attribute. The value is the name of the image, including the file extension.
Step 1: Firstly, we have to type the Html code in any text editor or open the existing Html file in the text editor in which we want to change the size of an image. Step 2: Now, place the cursor inside the img tag. And then, we have to use the height and width attribute of the img tag for changing the size of an image.
In HTML, the tag is used to add an image from the folder to the HTML document. The image path is specified by the src attribute of tag. To specify the path, firstly write the folder name, then a backslash / and lastly, write the image name with its extension.
Heres how its done in three easy steps: Copy the URL of the image you wish to insert. Next, open your index.html file and insert it into the img code. Example: Save the HTML file. The next time you open it, youll see the webpage with your newly added image.
To display a local image in HTML, you can use the tag and specify the source ( src ) attribute with the path to the image file on your local machine. Heres an example: css.
The HTML tag is used to embed an image in a web page. Images are not technically inserted into a web page; images are linked to web pages. The tag creates a holding space for the referenced image. The tag is empty, it contains attributes only, and does not have a closing tag.
