Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF using Microsoft Word, and as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well lets jump on the desktop. Here I am on my desktop, and I have a PDF file called certificate. Im going to go ahead and click on that and I have this nice certificate that I found online. Its a PDF file and I run a company and I have some employees who I want to celebrate. You know, instead of giving people a pay raise, Im just going to give him this paper certificate and hopefully that makes them satisfied with this company. No, really, Id probably just give him more money, I think that makes people happy and maybe throw the certificate in too, but heres the certificate and unfortunately, its a PDF and I cant edit the name of the recipient. I cant type anything down here. I cant type in a date. Its kind of annoying how its hard to edit PDFs,

We can modify the latest Git commit by simply using the amend option. It replaces the most recent commit. We can modify the commit message and update the files included in the commit as well. Git considers the amended commit as a new commit.
To undo changes associated with a specific commit, developers should use the git revert command. To undo every change that has happened since a given commit occurred, use git reset.
You can modifiy the commit message from gerrit UI directly. Just open the commit message on gerrit and click on the edit button next to patch-sets on the above. Do any change and then save it. You will need to submit you new commit message afterwards, appearing just above the owner section on the commit page.
You can modify the most recent commit in the same branch by running git commit amend. This command is convenient for adding new or updated files to the previous commit. It is also a simple way to edit or add comments to the previous commit. Use git commit amend to modify the most recent commit.
The git commit --amend command is a convenient way to modify the most recent commit. It lets you combine staged changes with the previous commit instead of creating an entirely new commit. It can also be used to simply edit the previous commit message without changing its snapshot.
You can modify the most recent commit in the same branch by running git commit amend. This command is convenient for adding new or updated files to the previous commit. It is also a simple way to edit or add comments to the previous commit. Use git commit amend to modify the most recent commit.
Updating an old commit If a commit was created before the availability of Change-Id support, or was created in a Git repository that was missing the commit-msg hook, simply copy the Change-Id: I line from the first line of the Description section of the change and amend it to the bottom of the commit message.
When creating a new commit, ensure the commit-msg hook has been installed in your repository (see above), and dont put a Change-Id line in the commit message. When you exit the editor, git will call the hook, which will automatically generate and insert a unique Change-Id line.
Commit IDs are unique SHA-1 hashes that are created whenever a new commit is recorded. If you specify a commit ID when you add a repository, Domino will always pull the state of the repository specified by that commit in a detached HEAD state.
Changing the latest Git commit message If the message to be changed is for the latest commit to the repository, then the following commands are to be executed: git commit --amend -m New message git push --force repository-name branch-name.
