So I have a brand new blank document here which means its a word processing document. If I want to do page layout, like create a newsletter or flier or poster or something like that my first step would be to switch to Page Layout, right there. Most of the time when you want to change the background color on a page its because youre doing page layout. Right. Youre making a sign or something like that and you want to have something other than white as the background color. So in most cases this is where youll be. Click the pop-up menus to choose the border thickness and style; to change the color, click the color well. To remove a border or style, click the pop-up menu and choose No Border.
