Update Price Books via Data Loader Edit the file and retain the ID and the columns you want to update (columns needed: ID, Name, Description, IsActive). Log in to Data Loader. Click Update. Select Price Book (Pricebook2). Browse for your csv file. Click Next and click Ok on the pop-up. Click Create or Edit a Map.
To edit a Price Book Entry Go to Price Books. Select a record. Go to the Related tab. Click the three-dot menu across from the Product and select Edit Price Book Entry. To edit the price, uncheck the Use Standard Price box. If you need to deactivate the Product, uncheck the Active box. Click Save.
Select the ID of the price book you want to manage. To edit the price book information: Click the Edit button in the left corner. Make the changes, and save you work.
Set List Prices Select a product. On the product detail page, click Edit from the Price Books related list next to the custom price book that will contain the list price. Enter the list price. Select Active to make this price available to products on opportunities or quotes. Save your changes.
Step 3: Import the CSV file as an update Launch Data Loader . Click the Update button. Select OAuth or Password Authentication as your login method. Log in. Click the Next button. Select the check box that reads Show all Salesforce objects. Scroll down to select the Price Book Entry object. Click the Browse button.
