im doing im im not going to do all the details but as i said in office hours the change of variables theorem is one of the big theorems in mathematics that everybody uses and its actually going to be crucial for us to understand how to do integrals of things on manifolds coming up soon but if you actually poll most people that have phds in mathematics very few of them actually have been through a proof of this there when you get to when you get to 8 000 level real analysis you learn a more powerful notion of integration called levate integration and using the vague integrals the proof of this theorem becomes easier but even so most graduate forces dont bother taking the time to explicitly do it so i want you to have some idea why the theorem works im not going to do all the details im not going to hold you responsible for any of the details other than the first thing were about to do which is something were going to use all over the place in chapters chapter 6. um so i remind

Evidence is the facts or sources that support your written argument. In a literature course, for instance, evidence would be a quotation from the text that helps you make your point. In a write-up of a scientific experiment, evidence would be the data you collected in your experiment that prove or disprove a thesis.
Books, journals, websites, newspapers, magazines, and documentary films are some of the most common sources of evidence for academic writing.
Evidence is the facts, examples, or sources used to support a claim. In the sciences, this might be data retrieved from an experiment or a scientific journal article. In the humanities, it may be a quotation from the text, published information from academic critics, or a theory that supports your claims.
There are three main ways to integrate evidence from sources into your writing: quoting, paraphrasing, and summarizing.
Citing Your Sources Evidence appears in essays in the form of quotations and paraphrasing. Both forms of evidence must be cited in your text. Citing evidence means distinguishing other writers information from your own ideas and giving credit to your sources. There are plenty of general ways to do citations.
Quoting, paraphrasing and synthesising are different ways that you can use evidence from sources in your writing. As you move from one method to the next, you integrate the evidence further into your argument, showing increasing critical analysis.
Evidence is factual information used as proof to support a claim or belief. It is information and research selected from the best available sources to support a decision. Evidence alone does not make decisions, but is used to help inform decision making to achieve the most effective outcomes.
