Adjusting List Levels Create a bulleted or numbered list. Select the list item(s) for which you want to adjust the list level. To move the selected item ahead one list level, from the Home command tab, in the Paragraph group, click INCREASE LIST LEVEL.
Click Home, click the arrow next to either the Bullets or Numbering button, and then click Bullets and Numbering. Tip: To quickly change the style of a bulleted or numbered list, just click the style you want in the list that appears when you click the arrow next to Bullets or Numbering.
How do you change the bullet from just a black dot to something more fun? Insert a picture or symbol and shrink it to bullet size. Copy a bullet from a different document and paste into your current document. Click the bullet drop down arrow and explore.
