Open your phones Settings app. Tap Network internet Internet. If you cant find it, search for the setting you want to change. If you still cant find it, get help from your device manufacturer. At the bottom, tap Network preferences. Tap an option. These vary by phone and Android version.
You should activate mobile data if you need to use the internet and are in a location without a Wi-Fi network. However, you might want to switch off mobile data when you are not actively using it to preserve battery life or prevent going over the data allotment on your mobile data plan.
Connect both devices wirelessly. Turn on your new Android phone and follow the on-screen prompts. Select your data. Follow the on-screen instructions to choose what comes with you contacts, photos, videos and calendar events. Transfer. Thats it.
Mobile data is the internet connectivity provided by your mobile network provider. While your phone will automatically switch to Wi-Fi if a network is available, you can manually control your mobile data use by enabling and disabling it.
On your Android phone or tablet, open a document in the Google Docs app . Tap Edit . To select a word, double-tap it. Move the blue markers to select more text. Start editing. To undo or redo an action, click Undo or Redo .
Without a cable: Turn on the new phone. Select Start. Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Choose which apps and data to copy onto the new phone. Select OK. Click on No cable. Select Backup from an Android phone. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Turn on your new device. Tap Start. When asked, make sure you connect to a Wi-Fi network. Choose to copy apps and data from your old device. Recommended: If you have a cable to connect your devices, follow the on-screen instructions to copy your data. Check your texts, photos, and videos.
Enable or disable Mobile data Launch the Settings app, and then select Connections. Tap Data usage. Make sure that Mobile data is enabled. If you want to disable Mobile data, tap the switch to turn it off.
