In the Finder -- or on your desktop -- right-click on the file for which you want to change the default application. On the resulting pop-up dialog box, select Open With Other Select the appropriate app in the list of applications.
Change permissions for files, folders, or disks on Mac On your Mac, select a disk, folder, or file, then choose File Get Info. If the information in Sharing Permissions isnt visible, click the arrow . Select a user or group in the Name column, click the pop-up menu, then choose a privilege setting.
How to set default apps on Mac In Finder, right click a file and select Get Info. Click the Open with dropdown box. Select an app this will be the app that opens all files of this file type from now on. Click Change All. Click Continue.
Changing the Default App for a File Type on Android Go to your device Settings. Find out how/where to manage Apps / Applications. Find the app you want to change. Open that apps settings to see the information for that app. Scroll down until you find a Clear defaults option.
