hello everyone and welcome to the five cs of service catalog management my name is julie moore and im the president of mind the itgap im excited to bring this topic i was asked by the people there at brighttalk to provide something a little bit different from the perspective of service catalog management and i think the the fit for this is is a really good thing because uh service catalog the process or you know the creation of a catalog has a way of changing an it organization permanently meaning that prior to kind of developing this service orientation were kind of you know a little distributed not so focused in our efforts and not focused on the outcomes that were providing to the business and so along with any type of service catalog initiative comes a lot of different changes and so what i wanted to do in this presentation was to kind of highlight some of the things that change along with the introduction of a service catalog so that as you begin looking at implementing a serv

Facebook Open your original data feed file. Go to Commerce Manager and select your catalog. Open the Catalog tab and go to Data sources. Select the data feed that you want to update. Select Settings. Upload your updated data feed file:
To give people access to your business: Go to Business settings. Click People. Click Add. Enter the work email address of the person you want to add. Select the role youd like to assign them. Click Next. Select the asset and the task access you want to assign the person. Click Invite.
To assign a partner to your catalogue: Go to your business settings and select your business. Select Data sources. Select Catalogues and select the name of your catalogue. Select Assign partner. Select how you want to invite your partner business.
If you accept, the catalog will be transferred to your partner. You cant transfer a catalog if its being used to run collaborative ads or sell with Shops on Facebook and Instagram. To accept a catalog ownership transfer request: You must be an admin of the Business Account in Business Manager that owns the catalog.
To assign or change their task, select Add people. Select the persons name on the left-hand side. On the right-hand side, select either Manage catalog or Create ads as the persons permission level. Select Assign.
Go to your Business Settings and select your business. Select Data sources. Select Catalogs and select the name of your catalog. Select Assign partner.
Request a catalog ownership transfer Go to Business settings. Select Data sources and then Catalogs. Select the catalog you want to claim ownership of. Select Claim and Claim again to confirm. Note: The claim option only appears if youre a business admin. All the requirements above must be met to submit your request.
To manage your catalog in Business Manager: Go to Business settings. Select your business account. Select Data sources followed by Catalogs. Select your catalog on the left-hand side. Select how you want to manage your catalog.
