Domicile is the place you intend to make your permanent home, the place to which you intend to return if you are temporarily residing in another state. This is important: You can have a residence in more than one state, but only one can be your domicile.
Declaration of Domicile​ A Declaration of Domicile proves residency in Broward County, Florida. It is often used to enroll children or college students in school, to establish eligibility for Homestead Exemption, or as the first step toward establishing legal residence in Florida.
This affidavit is made for the purpose of securing the transfer or delivery of property owned at the time of the decedents death to a purchaser or the person(s) legally entitled thereto under the laws of the state of the decedents domicile.
