You can convert an XPS document to DOCX ( see here and here ) but the DOCX will contain only the same information that was contained in the XPS - which means that there are no margins, no paragraphs, no headers, no footers, and possibly no text.
Follow these easy steps to convert your XPS files to PDF: In the XPS view application, click File and select Print from the dropdown menu. Select Microsoft Print to PDF in the dialog box. Click Print. Select the desired location for your new PDF.
The US International Keyboard gives you two ways to add a special character: Use the right-hand Alt key in combination with the appropriate letter to get one of the more common combinations. For example, Alt+e will result in: é Press the symbol you want to use and then the letter you want to use it with.
How to open an XPS file. Windows users can open XPS files in Microsoft XPS Viewer. In Windows 11 and later versions of Windows 10, you must manually XPS Viewer by going to Settings → Apps → Optional features → Add an optional feature and searching for XPS Viewer.
Insert Rupee Symbol in MS Word Using Keyboard If you don't have the rupee icon, press Ctrl+Alt+4 keys together. You could also press the side Alt key (Alt_GR)+₹ symbol if it is available on your keyboard. The rupee symbol can also be added using the left side Alt key and then type 8377 on the numeric pad.
Open an existing Word document or create a new Word document. Click the File tab or menu option at the top-left of the Word program window. Click the Export option in the menu. Select the Create PDF/XPS Document option, then click the Create PDF/XPS button.
How to Edit an XPS File Right-click on the document. Select “Properties.” Click “Change” from the "General" tab. Choose a program that you want to open the document in. Click “OK” to open the program and make the changes. Click the "File" tab and then “Save As.” Enter a new filename in the "File Name" field.

To type special characters in Windows, hold the Alt key, type the number code associated with the special character you want using the numpad that's located on the right side of your keyboard. The row of numbers above your letter keys won't work.
