Verifying my payment method Click your profile picture thumbnail from the main menu bar. Go to the Payment Financials tab. Click the + Payment Method button. Select your preferred payment source: Credit/Debit Card or PayPal. Provide the details required. Set your billing agreement currency.
Verifying your card is free, but some credit and debit card gateways may charge a small fee. It will be automatically refunded in 2 - 3 business days. Verifying your card will also activate an automatic billing agreement.
Some of the most common payment options include traditional methods like bank transfers and checks, as well as modern digital solutions like PayPal, TransferWise (Wise), Payoneer, Stripe, Skrill, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and payment systems offered by freelance platforms.
Log in to your Freelancer.com account. Click on your profile photo thumbnail, and select Deposit Funds. Select the payment method you will use for deposit.
Cancelling the automatic billing Log in to your Freelancer.com account. Click your profile picture thumbnail, and select Settings. Select the Payment Financials tab. Hover over the payment method you wish to remove, and click the x icon beside it.
To change, edit, or remove a billing method go to Settings Billing Payments. Only an alternative billing method may be removed. To remove a primary billing method, add an alternative billing method, then set it as your primary billing method.
The primary deposit options on the site are PayPal and debit/credit card. Depositing with any of these creates a billing agreement. The rest of the accepted deposit methods are: Skrill, bank deposit, iDEAL, Sofort, Giropay, Bancontact, Dotpay, WeChat Pay, Alipay, UnionPay, Apple Pay, and Paytm.
