ing to Facebooks algorithm, when a post is edited, it is treated as a new post, which means that it will have to go through the same process of gaining docHub as any other new post. This means that if you edit a post after it has been posted, it will not have the same docHub as it did before it was edited.
On the Facebook mobile apps, tap your profile picture (top right), then your name. Touch the three dots next to the post you want to change, then Edit post, and youll be able to make your changes. All the same options are available as on the web, and you can tap Save when youve finished.
Theres no time limit on editing a Facebook post. You can do it any time you want. Select the three dots next to a post to open a list of options. Select Edit Post.

Youd need to delete the post and re-post it. GO into acct settings, and look for undo changes. IF its there, click on it. If its not there, theres no way to undo your editing.
Editing an Instagram post does not repost it. When you edit a post on Instagram after sharing, the post remains in the same place on your profile and in the feeds of your followers. The only thing that changes is the content of the post itself.
