hi guys in todays video were going to show you how to edit the invoice first click on sales then click on invoices scroll down to the invoice you wish to edit then in the action column click the drop-down arrow and select view / edit now make your adjustments then click Save and close or save and send if you wish to read emails the invoice to your customer and youre done you have now successfully edited your invoice

The service invoice template should be simple and professional and should showcase the most important information on the invoice: your business information, the amount owing, and the invoice due date. You can create your own invoice template design, or you can download a free service invoice template to use.
If a business makes a mistake on an invoice they have already sent to their customer, they must cancel the invoice with a credit note and then issue a new invoice. The credit note essentially pays the incorrect invoice so there is no outstanding payment.
How to edit an invoice Find the invoice. Navigate to the Work tab at the top of the screen and select Invoicing from the drop-down menu. Remove the payment. Mark the invoice back to draft status. Edit the invoice. Mark the invoice as sent. Mark the invoice as paid.
In cases where you want to delete or amend an invoice, a credit note will usually suffice as the solution. A credit note allows you to effectively - and legally - cancel an invoice.
Edit the invoice Select Edit in the top-right to make changes to the invoice details such as the contact, project, invoice reference, invoice date, payment terms, additional text, email options, bank details or VAT options.
You can change the details of the line items on an invoice using one of the following options: Edit the details of one line at a time. Select multiple line items and perform a mass edit action.
From the Online Dashboard, go to Settings Document Templates and find the template youd like to modify. (For more information about choosing a template, go to Selecting new invoice or quote templates.)
