were going to demo how to use x title extractor to create a custom subtitle style that can be easily applied to future subtitles other subtitles in the same timeline with a single click so here i have my timeline this is uh sensitive footage so ive blurred it out and now i want to get ready to load up my srt file into final cut so go up to file import captions here we go subtitle demo import so here we go here are our subtitles not very cute but i am going to go ahead now and try to create subtitles in the style that i want using x title extractor so lets open up x title extractor over here uh lets check our settings so i want a 60 opacity kind of grayish bar behind the text and padding of 20 that all looks good so now im going to come back over here to my final cut projects im going to drag and drop right into x title extractor i dont think that went here we go there we go were converting titles and generating an xml that we can now import into final cut in just a moment all
