before start selling your product on amazon its super important for you to decide a brand name and tell that brand name to amazon no matter you are a brand registered seller or not no matter you are having the trademark of that bad name on no matter you are actually having the website of that brand name or not but you still need to decide and finalize a brand name and tell amazon that this is my brand name and i want to list my product under that brand name because this process will cost you nothing but that will reserve your brand name into the database of amazon so if you do so before start selling your product then you will be saved from a big trouble in future and if you dont do this before start selling then amazon will list your product into generic category without any brand name and it will be very hard for you sometime to update your brand name in future in amazon so if you wanted to tell amazon that this is my brand name then you need to open a case with amazon to resolve

Only when the product being sold is either materially different or changed in brand value is it necessary to create a new ASIN. This includes changes in colour, SIZE, material, features and product name.
If the product title was set up by yourself originally you can often change but even then Amazon sometimes blocks you from changing it. If your change isnt reflected you will have to raise a case with Seller Support asking them to change it.
As long as the ASIN is in good standing, there should not be an issue with deleting and relisting a SKU. You should wait at least 24 hours before relisting the same SKU. If the issue is with the ASIN in question and not your SKU, relisting the SKU wont help though.
How To Edit An Amazon Listing? Log in to your Amazon seller account. Then click on inventory and choose manage inventory. You can view listings of every product inside your inventory. Select the listing to be edited or amended among your active listings, and then click on the Actions link. Click on Edit details.
You should docHub the general information page. This is where you can update the Vital Info, offers, images or add a new variation. On the Vital info tab, you can update everything but the product ID. If you wanted to update the product ID, you would need to create a new listing for that.

On your Seller Central home page, navigate to the Inventory drop-down, click Add a Product and click Add a variation using Variation Wizard.
Edit an assigned ASIN View the listing on the Product Listings page (Inactive, Active, or Ineligible tab). Under Actions, click Edit Assigned ASIN. This action opens the Product Listing Update page. For Assign ASIN, enter the new ASIN value. To save your changes, click Save Listing Update.
If an ASIN doesnt exist, then youll need to create a new product in Amazons catalog first. Once youve created a new product, Amazon will assign it a unique ASIN and you can begin selling. This is commonly the case for brand owners, private-labels, and sellers with exclusive distribution rights.
How to Change Brand name on Amazon? To change brand name on amazon, first, go to the Help page. Suggest changes to the product detail page with your listing on it and within the Product name bar you can enter a different title thatll allow you to change the title of your product listing.
