A modified invoice will include all of the information thats found on a full invoice, but the product prices and total amounts will be inclusive of VAT.
You can select a different template for specific transactions directly from the form: Create or open an existing invoice, sales receipt, or estimate. Select Customize in the footer. Select a custom template from the list. Select Save and close.
You can back-date a VAT registration for up to 4 years. It depends on how much input tax you wish to claim. But you can claim some input tax (on goods up to 4 years; on services up to 6 months) pre-registration anyway, so you may not need to go too far back.
In cases where you want to delete or amend an invoice, a credit note will usually suffice as the solution. A credit note allows you to effectively - and legally - cancel an invoice. Its required by law that you always keep a copy of all invoices you issue for control purposes.
Customize logos Go to Settings ⚙. Under Your Company, select Custom form styles. Find the template you want to edit, then select Edit under the Action column. Go to the Design tab, then select Make logo edits. Select Show logo, then change the size and placement as you desire. Select Done.
Incorrect rate of VAT on the invoice To correct the matter, you must issue a credit note and a revised invoice. If your VAT invoice shows a lower amount of VAT than is correct, you must issue a credit note for the full value of the invoice. A revised invoice must then be issued to show the correct VAT.
You cannot edit or delete an invoice once its been included on a tax return. If you need to make changes or void an invoice included on a tax return, then you must cancel the original invoice by creating a credit note with the same details.
