in this video I will be describing how to normalize your eg TS and C HTS on the MVP 50p the purpose of the normalized operating mode is to be able to compare current engine operation to prior engine operation its recommended that the egt NCHS columns be normalized while operating your aircraft in normal cruise flight with the engine leaned when operating in normalized mode the egt NCHS bars may be normalized on the MVP by performing the following steps from the main screen press the menu button scroll to eg tcht bar graph setup and press the rotary knob scroll them to the arrows next to the word normalized eg T and CHT now press the rotary knob change the no to a yes and press the rotary knob once it says done exit back to the main screen your bar graph should now be even
