hey everybody jesse here from diy home check i know i was talking in on youre probably reading on some blogs about uh helping you date a roof im up on a standard three tab single roof here its in pretty good shape but there is some sorry the shadowing looks like its worse than it is but if you look head-on its a little bit a little bit of granular loss all intact pretty good shape i mentioned that you can use a plumbing boot this rubber plumb boot sometimes to get the date off um maybe not they get the date of the roof but you can get the date when this rubber boot was manufactured and then if you know when this is manufactured in then obviously the roof probably went on shortly after that now these could be replaced by themselves this rubber boot here so sometimes you just got to make it make sense if the boots almost new and the roof looks really old um he cant use common sense but if the uh if the roof looks like its about six years old and the rubber boot is coming back tha
