You can change a power of attorney if you are competent and you are the one that created the power of attorney then you can change it. If you or an attorney change name or address You must tell OPG if you or your attorney changes address, but you do not need to send any supporting documents. Do not make changes to your lasting power of attorney (LPA) document itself, as it might become invalid.
If you have made and signed a Power of Attorney such as a Lasting Power of Attorney or an Ordinary Power of Attorney, you are perfectly within your rights to cancel it. It is also possible to make a Deed of Partial Revocation, which would allow you to remove an attorney without revoking the whole document.
