AMCAS does not need your letters of evaluation to verify your application. Therefore, you may submit your application even if your letters have not yet arrived at AMCAS. Your application and letters will be made available to medical schools after your application is verified.
Address your letter to Dear Admissions Committee or begin with Recommendation for Use your student/applicants formal name. Sign your letter - schools will not accept an unsigned letter. It can be a physical or a digital signature.
What to Include Name and information regarding Medical School Applicant. Date letter was written. Provide an explanation of the relationship. Lists accomplishments of the individual that provides context. Contributions the individual can make to the program. Unique characteristics and credentials. Results of their prior work.
All applicants must submit three (3) letters of recommendation through the American Medical College Application System (AMCAS). If a Pre-Health Advisory Committees letter of evaluation is available, it may take the place of the other letters requirement.

Typically, medical school letters of recommendation are addressed To Whom It May Concern or Dear Medical School Admissions Committee.
If you are writing a personal recommendation letter, include a salutation (Dear Dr. Williams, Dear Ms. Miller, etc.). If you are writing a general letter, say To Whom it May Concern or simply dont include a salutation.
A request to update the state of legal residence must be sent from your primary email listed on your application. The email must be sent to AMCASExceptions@aamc.org and include the following information: Applicant Name. Applicant AAMC ID.
At minimum, most schools will ask you to submit one of the following: Three individual letters: Two letters from science professors and one letter from a non-science professor. These letters are to be sent directly to AMCAS by individual professors or by your school via a letter packet.
Try to include hard skills, such as their ability to check heart rates or administer medication, and soft skills, such as their work ethic. Use specific examples of their job responsibilities or academic performance to best illustrate how they would use their medical knowledge in a work environment or school program.
