If the lien has been paid off, use the assignment portion of the Lienholder Consent to Transfer Ownership, Form TR-128, attach the lien release in lieu of the lienholders portion of the consent and go to your local county treasurers motor vehicle office and make application for title.
You must submit the paper title. Your customer should sign a completed form HSMV 82139 Notice of Lien. Submit the completed form HSMV 82139 Notice of Lien, the paper title and a check (see fees) to the Tax Collectors office. The lien will be added to show you as lien holder.
Such notice shall be filed in the office of the clerk of the district court of the county where such property is located and shall be mailed by certified and regular mail to the general contractor or construction manager and a copy to the owner by regular mail, if known.
All name changes must be completed in person at a local office; however address changes can be completed online via MyDMV Portal or also in person at a local office.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) implemented the Commonwealths Electronic Liens and Titles (ELT) System in 1998.
A registered owner can release their interest by signing their name as it appears on the title and including the date. The remaining owner(s) must submit a Certificate of Ownership Application form. Once the first lienholder has been paid off, they may submit their lien release electronically (if they are members of the KS E-Lien system), or by providing it to the owner who will then submit it to the local county treasurers office or fax it to the Titles and Registrations Bureau at 785-296-2383.
To remove a lien from your vehicle in Florida, you have to complete your payments. Then the lien holder, whether is an institution like Southeast Toyota Finance or a credit union, will notify electronically notify the Florida DMV that the lien on your vehicle has been released.
You can do the title transfer in-person, online, by mail, or through Washingtons eXpress site.
