It is not necessary for the recommender to address each letter to a specific school. If you are applying to five schools and the content is identical for each letter, the recommender need submit only one letter addressed to Dear Admission Committee. Do not have the recommender submit five separate letters.
Letters of recommendation are a required component of nearly every law schools application, and most law schools require 2 or 3.
Speaking strictly as a matter of ethics, I would have to say no, it would not be unethical so long as you did not change any of the actual words (other than perhaps correcting their spelling) or change the meaning / intent of the letter.
When identifying your recommenders in your LSAC.org account, enter the name and contact information for each individual recommender, NOT the name and contact information of your campus credential service. LSAC will use this contact information to send your recommender a confirmation of receipt.
You cannot do this. Your professor recommended you for University A; changing their recommendation to University B is fraud.
If you are writing a personal letter of reference, include a salutation (Dear Dr. Smith, Dear Mr. Jones, etc.). If you are writing a general reference letter, say To Whom it May Concern or simply dont include a salutation.
Share the following information with your recommenders: Your current contact information, so they can docHub you if needed. A reminder of how you and your recommender know one another; classes you took with them, evaluations you got in those classes, paper topics or projects you worked on, etc.
