Create a shift for a team member To create a shift for someone, select their row, and then select More options Add shift. Add or edit start and end times, a custom label, break times, shift notes, and activities, and then select Save.
Set your availability In Shifts, tap. Set availability. Set your availability for each day. If youre available for only part of the day, tap on it, turn the All Day toggle off, and set the times youre available.
In Teams, swipe up on the bottom navigation and tap Edit. In Edit navigation, drag Shifts from More Apps to the top section. Note: The number of apps you can have in the navigation bar is limited, so you may need to remove other apps before you pin Shifts.
Managers can create, update, and manage shift schedules for their teams. They can assign shifts, add open shifts, and approve schedule requests from employees. Employees can view their own and their teams schedules, set their availability, request to swap or offer a shift, request time off, and clock in and out.
With Schedule Owner permissions, an employee can manage their teams schedule without being able to modify any other team properties such as updating, editing, or deleting team channels. What can a user with schedule owner permissions do? Create, edit, and publish schedules to manage their teams shift assignments.
Schedule staff shifts Sign in to Microsoft Teams, and on the app launcher, click More apps Shifts. In the Create a team schedule box, select the team you want to create the schedule for, and then choose Create. Confirm the time zone you want to use for the schedule. Add people to your schedule.
