As you hand a check (bank check) to the serviceman in payment for the bill, you say, Im going to need a receipt.
Requirements for a Valid Receipt The name address of the vendor providing the goods or services. The date that the specific services were received or items were purchased. Itemization of the services and/or goods and pricing.
All restaurants provide an itemized receipt when you are finished with your meal to request payment. That receipt is yours to keep no matter how you pay for you meals. You may have to ask for a detailed receipt if you are not provided one.
