hey welcome success with salesforce this is shane clevenger today i just want to do a quick video and show you guys how to change the objects in a related list and how theyre sorted if you guys will go to any object within your org you will see this related list of course all your details are here this is a sample org so dont have much there but next to your details in your related list you have all these objects here that you can choose from that are associated with this particular object so today im just going to show you how to change where these are located and what is there so you can have in for instance an account you can have your opportunities your contacts your cases etc so in order to get to this you want to navigate to your setup menu once you are in setup youll want to go to your object manager today we are going to work on the account object so just click account and were going to be working with our page layouts some works have different page layouts for different p

Record a computer purchase fixed asset Go to the Accounting menu. Select Chart of Accounts. Click New. From the Account Type dropdown, select Tangible Assets. From the Detail Type dropdown, choose Machinery and equipment. Name the account. Select the Track depreciation of this asset checkbox.
Categorize a transaction Go to the Transactions menu. Find a transaction on the list. Select Business if the transaction was for business, or select Personal for personal. Review the category in the Category column. If you need to change the category, select the category link. When youre done, select Save.
Computer hardware can be classified as a capital expenditure, an operating expense, or a depreciation expense.
