If you have made a mistake filling out your report or any other form, it is important that you notify us as soon as possible. You must call our Telephone Information Service at 1 800 206-7218 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, write to us or go in person to your Service Canada Centre.
How to request a reconsideration. Complete, print and sign the online request for reconsideration of an EI decision form. Submit it to Service Canada in person or by mail within 30 days after the date the decision was communicated to you. There is no fee to request a reconsideration.
If you have lost your EI access code or have not received your access code letter by mail, you may reset it through the follow 2 options: Call EI call centre at 1-800-206-7218, during weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. local time.
